It's a nice starter, but it really doesn't go as deep into the concepts as I expected. You really can't use this book as a resource, it's more of a introduction to the concept of integrated sciences.
The book is worn, as it is used, but that's okay because I was more concerned about the price. It arrived within the week I ordered it.
The problem I have is not the shipping or condition, but the poor quality of contents within the book. I've had many science books throughout my school career and this has to be one of the worst. Obviously, if you are required to use this book, then you still should purchase it to aid your studies. I suggest buying a quick guide to physic to supplement.
If you know the kind of kid who loves knowledge and understanding for the sheer sake of it all, this is a must-have book for them. Give them this book and open up all sorts of doors for their future.
I purchased this for class; not a bad read but wouldn't read again.
